Natural Thaw
Place in the refrigerator and allow to thaw overnight.
Quick Thaw
Place under cool running water for between 5 to 7 minutes. While rinising, lightly rotate the prawns to ensure even thawing. Let drain for 2 minutes. Prawns are now ready to be cooked. Cover prawns and refrigerate until cooking.
Consume within 48 hours of thawing. Thaw before cooking, this is a raw product and must be thoroughly cooked prior to consumption.
Pan Fry
- Preheat the frypan to medium heat.
- Lightly oil the pan and add the thawed prawns.
- Cook the prawns on a medium heat for 3 minutes, turning halfway or until fully cooked.
- Once cooked, remove from pan and allow to stand for one minute before serving.
